Transformer, Impedance Matching, Balanced to Unbalanced (Balun), General Specification for

This specification covers the requirements and tests for the production of the impedance matching, balanced to unbalanced (balun) transformer, hereinafter referred to as the transformer. The transformer provides efficient transfer of high power radio frequency (RF) energy in the high frequency (HF) range (2 megahertz (MHz) to 30 MHz) between an unbalanced concentric 50-ohm (coaxial) transmission line and a balanced antenna.
