This specification covers a 12.5 ton, manually operated, bench mounted, hydraulic press for straightening connecting rods of internal combustion engines. The press covered by this specification is intended for use in correcting bends, twists, and offsets in connecting rods of internal combustion engines. It is of the hydraulic type and has a minimum capacity of 12.5 tons. It is manually operated and bench mounted. The press is normally used in shops equipped with connecting rod alignment indicators.
