Hose and Hose Assembly, Nonmetallic, Suction and Discharge (w/Amendment 1) FSC: 4720

This specification contains the requirements for a non-collapsible, wired reinforced, synthetic rubber hose and hose assembly used with gasoline and jet-fuel. The hose and hose assembly required by this specification are used in dispensing hydrocarbon fuels and demineralized water. It is military unique due to its usage on both fuel servicing trucks and air transportable hydrant refueling systems. Its basic application is aircraft ground support.
