This specification covers electric- and pneumatic-motor-driven revolving-shaft and electric-motor-driven agitator-type liquid mixers. Type I mixers are intended to be clamped to open-head drums, tanks, or vessels for the mixing of paints, oils, or emulsions. Type II mixers are intended for mixing paints, oils, or emulsions furnished in closed containers.
