This specification covers carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguishers, 5 and 10 pound capacity, with flood valve, anti-recoil device, and nonshatterable cylinder. Fire extinguishers are intended for use in combating class B fires, which involve oils, greases, gasoline, alcohol, and other volatile liquids; and class C fires, which involve electrical or electrically energized, equipment.
